Scholarships offered by CSIR are given to those who fulfill the eligibility criteria for that Particular scholarship/fellowship. 

The scientific staff of CSIR only constitute about 3-4% of India’s scientific manpower but they contribute to 10% of India’s scientific outputs.

CSIR Science Grants:

Travel Grant

CSIR facilitate Travel grant and assistance to eligible young science scholars for participating seminars/symposium/ conferences held in abroad.

Eligibility - Research Scholars must be working in an academic or research institution in India.

Partial Finance Assistance For Regular / Adhoc / Contract Employee (NON CSIR)

Candidates can apply for travel grant by filling application form for availing Foreign Travel Grant.
