AADHAR Card Mandatory for UGC NET Online Application 2017

As per the latest notification from CBSE UGC NET exam, AADHAR cards are mandatory to apply for UGC NET 2017 exam November session.

The notification has been uploaded on the official website on 24th July 2017.

Why UGC Made Aadhar Card Compulsory - 

1. Aadhar card is a unique identification of Indian citizens & hence it would help the examination convener institute to fight against impersonation & fraudulence.
2. Aadhar card is linked to most of the important cards & services in India. Many other exams like bank recruitment, SSC, UPSC, other state exam are already considering the Aadhar card a mandatory document.
3. Identification of candidates on the exam center with the Aadhar card would give a lot ease to the exam center officers.

In Other News:

UGC delayed the online application commencement date further. Now, online application will begin from 5th August 2017. The last date for CBSE NET will be 31st August 2017.
